you people are a bunch of snobs and do nothing but enforce any negative beliefs regarding newcomers moving in.
should we tell them someone was shot and killed sunday night on the corner of 126th and 5th ave? 1 block from this place. at 9pm.
someone was stabbed in Washington Square park right across from an NYU dorm a few days ago. It doesn't just happen in Harlem.
I want to be a newcomer... For a long time I wanted to move back to Manhattan, and ... finaly when I am good and ready, prices in Midtown (close to the place I work at) is so out of reach I am considering Harlem.
Love you blog, gives me a sense of what's up in the area, but still, coming from NJ, hard toovercome the Harlem's stigma.
Nobody was shot an a ime very long in NJ, you know.
